Many rolling road days have gone into developing the all new MAXD Focus ST225 Software.
MAXD can now give you the total control and custom tuning files you desire and email them worldwide.
MAXD can even supply a custom tune whilst your car is sat on the dyno.
The very Popular Pumspeed Ultimate tune set has been totally rewritten with new VCT, new ignition maps and injector scaling to add power and torque for the same and often lower boost levels.
The Pumaspeed old U310 tune has now added VCT and ignition changes to increase it to a MAXD M315 Smooth bhp
The Pumaspeed U322 has now been transformed into a quick spooling torque busting a  MAXD M325 Aggressive bhp
The Pumaspeed U412 has now been MAXD-OUT totally transforming and maximizing the stock turbo into the MAXD M440 which has been written to included Focus RS Mk2 440cc injector scaling and RS Style ignition mappings to bring the best out of the Focus ST225.

For all 2005-2007 vehicles with AE and AF type ECU, MAXD have written a conversion file that allows the car to have the updated  2008-2011 version 7BUG firmware. Once this free upgrade is performed the car will have genuine Ford OE 6M5Y-12A650-AG software. After this update any of the new files can be uploaded to the early car without a trip to the Ford agent.

Turbo boost on the New MAXD M440v5 Tune.
 Boost Spool -The boost comes on much earlier and stronger due to the added ignition settings,
 Boost Peak - it peaks at 1 psi more than the other most powerful tune.
 Boost Mid range - lower and safer boost accross the
mid range and to the red line
 
Air Fuel Ratio - Lambda
Low revs - to promote spool the AFR is kept a lot leaner than previous tunes. This has the added benefit of
giving far better economy off boost which is always a benefit to be apreciated
Mid and High - Perfect AFR's all the way to the redline.
 
Wheel Power - WHP
Typical transmission losses on most dynos are calculated at around 15%-19%
The measured Wheel bhp was 284,
at 19% the calculated bhp is 339 bhp
at 15% the calculated bhp is 326 bhp

The Mapping device - FAQ's
 Can the box be used to turn my vehicle back to the original Stock file at any time ?
  - Yes, the box allows you to store the original file and then allows you to install your stock mapping any time you need.
What happens to my stock mapping ?
 -  This will be read and will be saved on the laptop.
What if my car is already mapped?
 - Your ECU will be read by the software and this will be treated as the stock mapping for your car.
 Is the Software easy DIY install on and off the car ?
  - Yes the custom software is very simple to use and runs on any Windows laptop.
 Can I upgrade the maps to a higher level ?
 - Yes the benefit of the system is that MAXD can easily send you upgraded files from the above list.
Can MAXD write a custom file to suit my list of mods ?
 - Yes the in house calibration specialists at MAXD can tailor a mapping to suit you and your driving style. Whilst MAXD research and development does run through most case scenarios there will always be the requirement for that one off special.
Can i use the device on more than one vehicle ?
 - No the MAXD device locks itself you your vehicles VIN number and cannot be used on another vehicle, it has 1 life only and should remain with the vehicle when sold.
Can I use Different Fuels ?
-  The  mappings are written to run on 97/99 octane UK fuel. They can be safely used on 95 octane fuel in daily use as we leave a very high percentage of knock control in the mapping. Full throttle and high load should be avoided when using low grade fuels on any mappings not just the MAXD Ultimate series
Does the Mapping affect the immobilizer ?
 - MAXD maps will not affect the vehicle immobilizer in any way.
Can I download a stock map?
 - If your car has already been mapped elsewhere and you want to return it to standard, MAXD can provide a standard tune.
