The MAXDOUT tuning device allows you total control of the vehicles ECU calibration with the use of any Windows based PC. With over 4000 sold worldwide for various Ford models you couldn't be in safer hands.

This brand new 2021 Puma ST Stage 1R version of the MAXD Out device contains a super safe engine calibration that runs a small but significant lift in boost over the stock mapping but lifts torque and peak performance significantly by 40-50bhp and 80-100nm at peak levels to make the car feel effortlessly quick. The torque delivery below 2300rpm is very similar to stock meaning power isn't wasted away in wheelspin. We have even seen cars of up to 263bhp with the correct modifications fitted !

The Engine Calibration is very similar to the Fiesta ST Mk8 so the power gains are very similar so the below is an extract fropm the Fiesta mapping info

Stage 1R - 240-255bhp and 380-390nm

Newly developed: Version 11 Stage 1R launched October 2020 making an additional 10bhp and 20nm torque than previous 1R.

Not only has this tune proven itself to have the best performance increases available on the Fiesta ST Mk8, it also features unique features including on the road switchable mapping. Normal driving mode and Sport/Track mode have some very differing features that enhance the driving experience in a way only MAXD Out know how to do.

In normal mode the car is very much OEM+ with all eco features enabled such as cylinder deactivation and stop start whilst maintaining the performance everybody expects from the MAXD Out mapping calibrations. But hit the Sport mode button and the car really comes alive with amplified crackles on overrun, sharper throttle response, more aggressive hardcut limiter, refined launch control and the full fat performance that MAXD Out has to offer!

"Just to let you know that I am absolutely delighted with the upgrade to my Fiesta. Apart from being a whole lot quicker, it is certainly less of a handful to drive, and much smoother whilst still retaining 39.5 mpg! The drive to Manchester was a great trial run, and long enough to get used to it. I put my foot down and went from 70 mph to 110 mph in a nano second. I can’t wait to get it on the track at Goodwood and do it again. Many thanks to yourself and your team for transforming my little pocket rocket."

Fantastic results from the new MAXD Out mapping on the new ST Mk8.

Pumaspeed have 3 Mk8 Fiesta demo cars, 1.0T, 1.5T and a very bespoke race inspired 1.6T G25-550 450bhp powered track car.
The pride of the Mk8 fleet is the new 1.5T and very eager to lift power saw us read the stock MG1 version ECU with the very popular MAXD Out software back in June or July 2018, so we were very quickly able to get to work of writing some testing maps for the car. The only issue was that no-one in the world had the write protocols so no matter how many files we or anyone else wrote they just could not be written to the ECU.

The MG1 version ECU was finally write enabled on the August 22nd 2018 so we have been testing and logging maps on the various firmware versions since then with some brilliant results as the main YouTube video of the new Stage 1R map below shows.

A stock power run with a high flow panel filter and Scorpion catback showed a healthy 205-208bhp spread with an average around 206 of the 6 back to back dyno runs performed.

In mid September the very popular MAXD Out system was write enabled, so the Pumaspeed dealer network can now deliver fully tested maps which have had 10,000+ miles worth of dyno, track and road miles.
